ROTARY CLUB OF CONROE DENTAL PROGRAM

This Spring, the Rotary Club of Conroe recognized the many local dentists who participate in the Club's unique program to provide emergency dental care for Conroe children whose families cannot afford that care.

Since 1932, the Rotary Club of Conroe has worked with local dentists and school nurses to provide emergency dental care for needy children.  This is a “one-of-a-kind” program that has been for years the Club’s largest funded program.  This past year the club budgeted $17,000 for the Dental program, which was based on prior needs and the 12-15 local participating dentists charging 50% or less of their costs.  However, this amount didn’t come close to meeting the increasing need.

On October 12, 2010, the Club will hold its Annual Fish Fry Supper & Raffle at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds so we may continue this important program. All Rotarians will be participating in this event and we ask the Conroe community to do the same.
