"WHAT ARE BLOGGERS TALKING ABOUT?"

Do you ever wonder how issues like polio, peace, or literacy are being addressed on blogs? You can track them through Blog Pulse, a site that enables its users to search key trends or even follow a conversation taking place online right now. Blogs enable users to comment on stories and also provide relevant news and information - including what Rotary is currently doing to address specific issues around the world.

GSE Team Preparing for Argentina Trip

The Group Study Exchange Team (GSE), going to Argentina next spring, had their second training session at Lone Star College – Montgomery this past Saturday (December 13th). Since team members are not Rotarians, part of the training includes is a fast-track induction to Rotary; and what better person than PDG (1974-75), Jack Staggs.  Jack has been a Rotarian for over fifty years and led a team to England in 1976.  Since that time he has been a regular participant in the GSE team preparation. Jack, thank you bery much!

My Service Dog, Inc.
September 2nd Program

Many disabled individual are not able to do some things that many able-bodied people take for granted, i.e., bending over to pickup something, removing shoes, getting the remote-control or getting a beer from the cooler.  Realizing this, Allie Keaton started focusing her skills with animals to train dogs to provide service support.  She formed My Service Dog, Inc to fulfill a need for Service Dogs in the Houston area.
